Meet Lauren Kaszovitz, Chief Operating Officer

At Crypto Media Hub, we are highlighting each of our staff to illustrate their professional backgrounds, their passions, and what brought them to the cryptocurrency sphere.

This week’s highlight is Crypto Media Hub’s Chief Operating Officer, Lauren Kaszovitz!

Lauren is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where she studied communications. She’s used her passion for connecting with people across the world and love of the arts to pen a popular blog, create a successful real estate business and even nurture a modeling career. Lauren went on to work at advertising agencies such as Pereira & O’Dell and real estate firms CBRE and CORE, before finally coming on with CMH. What was the first cryptocurrency you ever bought? If you haven’t bought yet, what would be your first choice and why?

I bought Bitcoin first because it was the first cryptocurrency I had knowledge of and it felt the most natural to start off with a coin that really began the whole blockchain revolution.

What excites you the most about crypto?

I find it incredibly exciting that there is a place where you can exchange money in a peer to peer capacity without the need for banks or government input. That is extremely exciting to me. This is a limitless new world that tends to attract some of the most innovative and interesting minds all across the globe.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I am a very creative person and often rotate between the creative hobbies I enjoy the most. I love to read and write and am often scribbling notes for my novel in progress.  I am also a huge film buff. In addition, I have been dancing since I was a young girl and count music as an integral part of my life. On a day to day basis, you can also often find me photographing my favorite subject; New York City, exploring fashion, and being out in nature.

How did you get involved in Marketing?  What do you think is missing from the messaging and marketing around cryptocurrencies?  Where do you see the greatest opportunities?

I studied Communications in college and have always found that my curious nature and love of research along with my ability to get along with almost anyone is a skill I should cultivate…marketing is a perfect place to do so. To me what is missing the most is information & an easy way to explain what cryto and blockchain are.  I think the greatest opportunities are in the ability to educate and introduce what it is cryptocurrencies are and why they are important and exciting to the mainstream public.

What’s your favorite source of crypto news and why?

I really enjoy Bitcoin magazine. It is easy to navigate and a wonderful place to find a variety of articles and information. It is also a trustworthy source where I can find whatever it is I need regarding crypto and blockchain news in an up to the minute way.
